Ricoh, the Japanese electronics company has launched Europe's first economically friendly advertising board that is 100% powered by renewable energy. As more consumers look to purchase from companies that are eco-friendly it looks like Ricoh have found the perfect solution by mixing advertising with renewable energy.

The advertising display which is positioned on London's M4 motorway between London and Heathrow consists of 96 solar panels and five wind turbines, demonstrating Ricoh's commitment to sustainable innovation.

Steve Saito, Chairman and CEO of Ricoh Europe says "We go beyond simply meeting regulations. Instead, we proactively promote environmentally responsible practices in our own business. The eco-board is a visible demonstration of what we stand for".
