Architect Aukett sees surge in new work enquiries

Construction
September 22nd, 2011

Architect Aukett Fitzroy Robinson has reported an upturn in enquiries for new projects both in the UK and Russia in a positive trading update to the City today. The quoted practice said it has enjoyed an increase in enquiries on projects worth £891m due to start construction in 2013 and beyond.

Aukett said the work boost would return the firm to profit in the second half before an exceptional item relating to litigation costs (the firm is currently embroiled in an £835,000 row over unpaid fees at a scheme in Piccadilly in West London) which means the practice will make a much reduced operating loss.
